About us:

We are a fast-growing startup in Kent, and we're looking for an Operations Associate to join our team! We're seeking a highly motivated, conscientious, and kind individual who's committed to working hard to get things done.

Type One Style is an eCommerce brand on a mission to improve mental wellbeing and health outcomes in people with diabetes around the world. We accomplish this by selling beautifully designed need-based products for those with diabetes. Our flagship product, medical patches, protects diabetes devices from coming off. Lost devices cause distress, financial loss, and preventable trips to the hospital.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who's able to work independently and as part of a team. You'll need to have a strong work ethic and be willing to go above and beyond to get the job done for our patients/customers.

Role responsibilities:

Pick & pack orders efficiently, with a high attention to detail.
Plan your time and track your stock levels to ensure all products are produced for orders on time.
Work effectively as part of our team and assist others when able.
Assist the patch and print production team with cutting and wicking of materials in the afternoons, as well as with packing orders and making sure that, as a team, all orders go out on time.
Keep track of stock and be pro-active in everything you do.
Adhere to all standard operating procedures, instructions, and health and safety policies on site.
Be open & communicative; transparency, wellbeing, and asking questions (no matter how silly or small they might be) is a priority here.
Safe operation of any equipment on site.
Ensure your workspace is tidy & organized.
Any other responsibilities that may reasonably be required.

The package:

Full-time role working Monday to Friday, on-site, at CT12 5GY.
Basic rate is £11.50 per hour.
Hours are 8am to 4:30pm
Company pension scheme.
Option to work weekends and swap out weekdays.
Option to trade bank holidays for extra annual leave.
20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) with birthday off
